ZANU Pf businesswoman and renowned educationist Loice Magweba donated groceries to Harare Central suburbs.

Philanthropist and renowned educationists as well as a successful and proud Zanu Pf businesswoman Loice Magweba today handed over groceries to vulnerable families in five Harare Central suburbs which include Arcadia, Braeside, Eastlea, St Martins, Rhodesville, Cranbourne and CBD.
A strong zanu PF member, Loice Magweba said he was moved and responding to community needs among them helping vulnerable families affected by Covid-19.
Among the groceries donated include Mealie Meal, cooking oil and sugar.
Mrs Magweba was accompanied by Zanu Pf Harare DCC4 executives Zone4 Treasure Prudence Ngwarati, Zone 4 Spokesperson Takudzwa Mashumba and Muhamad William Zone 4 Secretary for Lands.
An Arcadia resident identified as Mr Peters welcomed the gesture by Cde Magweba in remembering the vulnerable in the communities and testified that whenever a need arises Mrs Magweba was always there to support and assist.
“Mrs Magweba has been at the forefront of reaching out to Harare Central communities since time immemorial responding to challenges facing residents as well as assisting vulnerable groups of people especially the orphans and the widows”, Mr Peters said.
Addressing residents during the presentation Mrs Magweba gave a small lesson on the deadly Covid-19 pandemic and emphasized the need for every responsible citizen to practice personal hygiene as well adhering to government directives towards following WHO health regulations to contain the spread of this deadly virus.
“Let’s be responsible citizens, the Covid 19 pandemic is real and has claimed million lives, let’s practice personal hygiene, let’s follow government health regulations, together as responsible citizens we can contain the spread of this deadly virus”,she said.
She also donated a face masks to every beneficiary of the donations.
Community leaders from Harare Central showered Mrs Magweba with praises saying they were grateful that our she has donated food to vulnerable families in this period of lockdown were some families have nothing to eat.
Harare Central beneficiaries who received the donation, commended Mrs Magweba and called upon all individuals and institutions to copy from him.
