Harare, Zimbabwe. (News Of The South) – AT 29, he is one of Zimbabwe’s youngest prophets and whenever he does his things, he does so in style.
This is what Prophet Emmanuel Mwale of the Unity Apostolic Church International did when he threw a lavish birthday bash held at the UACI Debenia International Centre based in Hatfield, Harare, recently.
Although the number of guests was limited to 500, the birthday party ended up attracting more considering that Buhera South Member of Parliament Joseph Chinotimba, Harare Metropolitan Provincial Minister Miriam Chikukwa and Dr Chamu Chiwanza – an entrepreneur belonging to the empowerment lobby group, Affirmative Action Group – were part of the guest speakers.
But it did not end there. Entertainers included musicians Gerry Tight who is son to Willom Tight, Cindy Munyavi who did a rendition of the “Happy Birthday Song”, Chikwata 263, UAC Choir as well as an Indian band which thrilled guests with their exotic melodies.
Dubbed “A Prophetic Celebration”, the party however belonged to Prophet Mwale himself who thanked his parents – who founded the ministry – adding that they had travelled this far thanks to the grace of God.
“This birthday party was the first of its kind in our ministry and it is going to be an annual event. Also the first of its probably in Zimbabwe because rarely do you see people being saved and delivered at such an event and this is the reason why we themed it ‘A Prophetic Celebration’. We also distributed anointing salt and oil,” he said.
Prophet Mwale was dressed by Jan Jam while Zimbali Gardens did the catering. The man-of-the-cloth also received presents which included a portrait of himself which was done by one female member of his church, while Chiwanza pledged US$500 and tickets for Prophet Mwale to the Victoria Falls.
Prophet Mwale was born on October 26, 1987. He used to spend time doing music and fashion designing before committing himself to God’s work.
