0 0(News of The South) – While Praying for Zimbabwe, a vision came, seeing two politically divided groups posing after running a race, quarrelling against one another but without the will to fight one another.
The country took days without a proper government in place. During that time there were discussions going on about the way forward. An urgent meeting was arranged by some outside big figures-the most respected people from around the world. They set around a table to discuss how best to help the people of Zimbabwe come out of that situation without letting the prevailing atmosphere of tranquillity going out of hand.
Proposals after proposal where brought forward for discussion. It was eventually decided to arrange a caretaker government that will steer the country through a certain phase, during which time issues of disagreement were ironed out to pave way for an election for which both arguing camps agreed that there were no more anomalies to argue about. Conspicuous among those sitting around the table of the respectable figures were: Honourable Kofi Atta Annan, Honourable Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda, Honourable Joaquim Alberto Chissano, Honourable Ian Seretse Khama, Honourable Jose Eduardo dos Santos, some most revered Americans and distinguished clergymen.
SADC met as a separate entity, but in the hearts of some members of the bloc was scepticism and some of them had their own different agenda which left the bloc divided. Evil was seen planning to destabilize the region, but by grace, tranquillity prevailed. The word came urging the people of Zimbabwe not to be complacent but to pray a little harder with faith and conviction.
A message was also sent out to tell people to hold overnight prayer sessions at places close to polling stations for Angels to intercede for a miraculous peaceful outcome to happen, pride and respect was bestowed upon Zimbabwe.
However, there was a chilling warning for the people not to forget the past and to remain prayerful lest the past happens again. Because God’s powerful hand was seen in delivering the people of Zimbabwe out of shame, the new government did not hesitate to appoint a minister of religion. The whole phase was followed by a season of abundant rain and the people praised the Lord.
