Hope Anscomb, 24, an office boss from Bromley, South London, who is 5ft 8ins tall has taken an innovative approach to find a date on Valentine’s Day. She has put herself for auction on eBay to find a Valentine’s date – the deal is inclusive of a free meal at a posh restaurant.
The cash she would get from the highest bid – she intends to donate it to the Autism Trust. Bidding is expected to end on February 11.
Opening up she had this to say: “I’ve never been on a blind date before although I’ve done internet dating. It would be brilliant if it turned out that I found Mr. Right.”
She believes raising cash is more important than beauty and urged would be dates to bid generously.
She seems to have a good sense of humour – she finally said: “I’m really looking forward to it.”
