A POLICE officer has claimed his was paid $1.5 million to help hip-hop star Tupac fake his death in 1996.

David Myers, who is on his deathbed at a hospital in the US according to The Mirror, says music mogul Suge Knight was also heavily involved in executing the plan, as well as 30 other people who assisted including police, medics and various witnesses.

“The world needs to know what I did. I’m ashamed that I let a price be put on my word and I cannot die without letting the world know,” Myers says.

Tupac was shot and killed in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996, after attending a Mike Tyson boxing match at the MGM Grand with Death Row Records founder Knight.

No one has ever been charged with his murder.

In 2012, Knight, who was Tupac’s label boss, also claimed the superstar may still be alive.

Knight claimed that nobody has seen the California Love hit-maker’s body since he was killed.

Speaking to a Los Angeles radio station, Knight reportedly said: “Nobody [has] seen Tupac dead.”

Knight, who was the driver of the car in which Tupac was fatally shot, claimed he gave “three million dollars, cash” to the person who was supposed to cremate the rapper’s body and never heard from that individual again.

He continued: “Maybe the question is … Pac’s not really dead … Pac’s somewhere else.” – Voice
