Zimbabwe – Cries of the hopeless mothers hugging and hogging their children with their belongings strewn all over and what were their homes flattened in the summer deluge of rainfall is not a good sign at all. Meanwhile the army of bulldozers continues on this evil mission unabated. Well, the homes destroyed are for helpless loyal residents of the city and country. It is a shame that modern day Zimbabwe could be brought square into the evil of apartheid sponsored and executed by the entrusted city fathers. Zimbabweans never understood the red regalia of the MDC especially as the rainbow Alliance, well that is ruthless movement.
The former University of Zimbabwe commanders of violence found a home in the MDC Alliance much to the annoyance of the peace-loving communities. Red for danger is epitomised in the evil that has come to characterise the policies and acts of MDC. Fellow Zimbabweans our cause is deep in our quest to renew and reform the country after going all out to reclaim the land for the majority.
The oppressor called the revolutionary party a terrorist movement and now after independence the very defeated colonial masters would discredit our democratic pedigree. Unfortunately, the western propaganda has found faithful followers who have signed up to the evil of a scotched-earth policy against the revolutionary governments. Zimbabwe stands most condemned by the west for the cardinal sin of removing the white master from the land which he dearly loved.
It is a travesty of justice to advance a charge of crimes against humanity for the spate of callous demolitions of properties for the residents of Harare in isolation. Allow me to say that most Hararians are not suspected of supporting MDC Alliance, but have confirmed it with their votes since the turn of the century. It is not uncommon to hear claims of MDC Alliance being the party for the cities. The media has attracted the public journalists on social networks and the professional journalist’s wrath in condemning this evil. However, the anger is directed at either of two political protagonists in Zimbabwe.
Some commentators are of the view that Zanu PF as government is responsible while others condemn the city fathers and MPs for the respective areas who are the MDC(s). So who ultimately stands in the dock to answer the charges for the colossal acts of evil. The MDC Alliance, especially has been on a warpath in the hope of making the country ungovernable and the government powerless. So why not charge MDC Alliance with this serious crime against humanity?
Why the MDC Alliance is Ultimately Answerable?
The patriotic people of a sovereign Zimbabwe should charge the MDC Alliance and its neo-colonial partners with crimes against humanity. The people’s court calls on MDC Alliance to answer to the charge that, “The demolitions are an escalation of the scotched-earth policy to decimate the Zanu PF government”. The people put it to the pastor-cum- advocate, Nelson Chamisa that the MDC Alliance has been on a warpath against the people of Zimbabwe. Since the turn of the century the MDC Alliance chose to make sanctions their cardinal policy and after events of 2017 Nelson Chamisa and Tendai Biti went to cement sanctions against Zimbabwe. Contributing to the Herald in an article titled Unfogiveable treachery, Reason Wafawarova, a political writer based in SYDNEY, Australia argues against sanctions saying, “There are no children, and there will never be a generation that will celebrate the isolation of Zimbabwe; let alone one advocated by our own politicians. This was a trip of shame.
Nelson Chamisa surely knows better than this. Zimbabwe we are one and together we will overcome. It is homeland or death!”. We stand by that submission and demand that the MDC come clean on this act that has decimated the economy of Zimbabwe. The MDC was founded on mass strikes in the 1990’s that strained the economy before campaigning for sanctions. Part of the brief to form the MDC was the desire to return land to the white farmer. So is it not a truism that the MDC is opposed to the economic advancement of Zimbabwe. When the sanctions failed the MDC chose violent strikes especially after losing elections. Some of those strikes saw innocent people lose their lives in the mayhem. Equally, this had nothing to do with a genuine political strategy but to strangle the government. As if that was not enough we now have hordes of people who have been claiming abduction often times when at the same time reports surface of the same people having quality time despite the claims. We put it to the MDC that when faked abductions failed it was time to change the approach. This same trend now appears to have become even more vicious. It seems the more Nelson Chamisa loses the more vicious and cunning he tries. So as the party for the cities and the champion for demonstrations where is Nelson Chamisa and MDC over demolitions. Why did the city of Harare allow buildings to be completed and serviced on their watch and now let the same structures destroyed? All the councillors and MPs of the respective areas where demolitions are taking place did nothing, Why? So in all the shenanigans of the MDC Alliance whose best interests are they serving?
The MDC Alliance and Nelson Chamisa in particular are charged with the heinous crime of the demolition of houses in towns and cities where they control. Make up your mind and step into people’s court and lay your charges.
Zimbabwe will never be a colony again come rain come thunder.
