On Friday in South West Wales, the weather was calm and even the night sky was clear and it has a full bright moon shining after the horrendous storm that wreaked havoc on Thursday and before another imminent storm. People were going about with their daily activities in a calm, dry and relatively sunny weather.
This reporter was thrilled to hear some few kids playing outdoors in the relatively sunny weather, singing the Nursery Rhyme:
Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day: Little Arthur wants to play.
Indeed it was a prayerful rhyme – the kids were declaring that they are now fed up with this harsh weather – they needed a bit of vitamin D from the sun and some outdoor play, but it seems the rain gods are deaf and dumb – they are not heeding to these children’s prayer.
The Met Office has issued several amber and yellow weather warnings for rain, wind and snow. Heavy rain is expected to lash the United Kingdom again in the early hours of February 14, Valentine’s Day.
The rain is expected to continue into Saturday. High debilitating winds with gust of 60 -70mph are to batter England’s South Coast from Friday evening until Saturday morning.
The harsh weather is expected to clear by Sunday. The bad weather did not dampen spirits on Friday 14, Valentine’s Day this did not dampen the romantic dinners and a good laugh.
