The commemoration was blessed with African Royalty as Her Royal Highness Princess Moradeun Adedoyin Solarin called the world to Order on restoring African Royalty. She majestically passed the microphone to Tendai Immanuel who shared on Empowering African Women.
It really showed the women power when the Zimbabwean President of LEAD party Linda Masarira warned Africa about the New Scramble For Africa.

Dr Masimba Mavaza a lawyer and a political commentator enlightened people on Sanctions and their effects on Africa. DR Mavaza used Zimbabwe as a case study for his presentation.
Colonialism stripped Africans of their cultural appreciation: was Lady Sandra Nelson’s complaint. Which was confirmed by Dr Julius Mbaluto talking about how Neo Colonialism of Africa should be stopped.

It could not have come at a better time when The President of Zimbabwe was honouring Mbuya Nehanda whose skull is displayed in the museum in the United Kingdom when Princess Eugene Majuru took a dig at Africa’s Artifacts stolen during colonialism and demanding that they should be repatriated back to Africa. With full Restitutions for Africa as echoed by Mr Remi Kapo

Africa Day, formerly known as ‘Africa Liberation Day’ or ‘African Freedom Day,’ is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the Organization of African Unity on May 25, 1963.

Africa Day is celebrated in the African continent as well as around the world in recognition of African nations gaining independence, to mark the onward progress of the liberation movement and acknowledge the determination of the African people to free themselves.

The African Diaspora chose to host this event to showcase its cultures, tell the story of the continent of Africa, and celebrate the African and Diaspora communities who contribute to the fabric of our culture and being.

Dr Mavaza reminded participants that “we are not Africans because we are black but we are Africans because we are born with Africa in us.
Never before was this great day held virtually. To cap the great event participants danced to the news from the Zimbabwean President Cde Emerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa who promised to put all his power on reclaiming the remains of all our heroes displayed in a Museum in Britain.
