By Wangu – MDC – T South Africa Spokesman.

Machete and stick wielding marauding locals have criminally roamed through the streets of Johannesburg and other outlying cities and towns demanding the immediate eviction of froreigners from their shores.

There is an estimated four million Zimbabwean citizenry in South Africa who have crossed the border in seek of employment.

The Tsvangirai-led MDC T in South Africa have opened centres and appointed teams in various areas across the country to help victims of perceived or real xenophobic attacks.

The visionary initiative is a direct response to the vacuum in the representation of Zimbabweans in South Africa. The defacto consular officials have voluntarily availed themselves to serve the people of Zimbabwe at their own expense.

Assistance will be rendered to all Zimbabwean nationals regardless of gender, age, regional background, tribe, race, religion and all services and advice shall be offered for free.
