However, the alleged security details got wind of where he was staying prompting his aunty to let him go to stay in Victoria Falls with another relative where he teamed up with other activists and staged another demonstration which was disrupted by suspected Zanu PF members who beat up and kidnapped Marvin and some of his colleagues.

Another relative said after the ordeal in Victoria Falls, the activist returned to Bulawayo and participated yet in another protect against the motive behind the ministry of information communication technology’s donation of computers to the Pumula library in Bulawayo ahead of the ‘Meet The Youths’ rally by the then president Robert Mugabe last year.
“Marvin was part of a demonstration that was organised by Tajamuka last year which was protecting against the ministry of ICTs for donating computers ahead of a rally by the former President which they argued was a vote buying gimmick,” said one close relative.
After the demonstration, suspected Zanu PF youths made numerous visits to his aunt’ s place where they harassed family members including his twin brother and sensing imminent attack, the activist is understood to have gone into hiding.
Efforts to quiz the relatives to open up where they suspect he could have gone and whether a police report was done hit a snag.
