Tadeous Chifamba appointed Zimbabwean ambassador to the USA

HARARE, Zimbabwe (News of The South) – Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa has reassigned Tadeous Chifamba to be Zimbabwean Ambassador to the United States of America.
Before his appointment, Chifamba was Zimbabwe Ambassador to the European Union based in Brussels, Belgium. He is going to replace Innocent Mutembwa who was Zimbabwean Ambassador to the USA.

“It is hereby notified that His Excellency the President has, in terms of section 110 (2) (i) and 204 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No.20) Act, 2013, appointed Mr Tadeous Tafirenyika Chifamba to hold the Office of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United States of America,” reads a notice in the government gazette.
Chifamba will leave Belgium to return to Harare in 2 weeks and will proceed to the USA at the end of the year.
