Zimbabwe dendera artist Sulumani Chimbetu is now a pilot.

Sulu who has always wanted to be a pilot took his flying lessons at the Charles prince Airport just outside Harare.

Sulu who was recently in Leicester at the just ended Greatest Hits Tour caught up with this reporter who asked about the new dress style.

“ I dress like a pilot because I am a pilot, I always wanted to be a pilot when I was growing up. I took my flying lessons at the Charles Prince airport and stopped for some time. I have since resumed my lessons and will be completing the flying course soon.”

The Pilot gear is also part of my label “Sulu” he added.
Asked about how his label was doing in the fashion business, Sulu explained: “ My label is doing extremely well and most are also into the pilot gear which is doing very well”.

Asked if he was going to be flying commercial flights Sulu said: ” No I will not fly commercial flights I am just doing it for fun”

The rest of the band members the Dendera Kings are now dressing as cabin crew and the new look is very fashionable.

Sulumani`s plans for the rest of the year include promoting upcoming talent.

An 8 track album is due to be released sometime in July.
