It is common knowledge that celebrities can go overboard and post weird and unthinkable things on twitter but South African musician Kelly Khumalo can easily walk away with honors for the ‘weirdest tweet ever’ last night.
According to reports from South Africa’s Sapa news, Khumalo ganged up with one of her siblings and allegedly assaulted the wife of Orlando Pirates goal minder SenzoMeyiwa.
They are reported to have handed themselves in at Hillbrow police station.
As the news of her arrest trickled in twitter users got the shock of their lives when they saw the talented musician and actress’ posts on the social site.
Some even wondered if her account had been hacked.
“God will do what he said he will stand by his word, no weapon formed against me shall prosper, it won’t work!,” she first tweeted.
She followed that tweet up with: “Rabakashandarabosiyaekhelemende. Rebesiya!” then ended it off with a baptism of fire: “ Firefirefirefirefirefirefirefire,” she wrote.
According to the Christian apologetics & Research ministry, speaking in tongues is, “a phenomena where a person speaks in a language that is unknown to him. This language is either the language of angels or other earthly languages.”
It then leaves one wondering whether Khumalo was really overcome by the spirit of the most high when she posted those tweets.
Of course twitter users couldn’t help but poke fun at her bizzare posts.
“Kelly just clocked twitter. There’s nothing left for her to do here now. She killed the boss & rescued the princess,” @SizweDhlomo wrote.
