HARARE, ZIMBABWE (News of The South) – Prominent businessman and self-proclaimed “Mupositori” Sir Wicknell Chivayo made headlines today with an extraordinary act of generosity and a powerful plea for reconciliation, showering gospel music sensations Mambo Dhuterere and his wife, Mai Dhuterere, with brand new luxury vehicles and significant cash gifts. The announcement, made on what Chivayo dubbed “Zuva raMambo” (The King’s Day), also saw him address recent social media reports regarding the couple’s alleged marital challenges.

In a deeply personal message, Chivayo announced that two “BRAND SPANKING NEW ‘WHITE’ TOYOTA FORTUNER 2.8 GD6” vehicles are ready for collection at FARAMATSI MOTORS CLUBCHAMBERS showroom, fully paid for. This substantial gift was further amplified by a cash donation of USD $50,000 for Mambo Dhuterere and a remarkable USD $100,000 for Mai Dhuterere, with Chivayo emphasizing her role as “amai ve musha” (mother of the home) and the “mbereko yedu” (our womb/source of life).

Chivayo, a long-time admirer of the Dhutereres’ music, particularly their “nziyo dzedu dzemapositori” (our apostolic songs), lauded their impact on uniting the country through gospel music, from church gatherings to national events and even ZANU PF rallies. He specifically cited their journey from the “DARE GURU” album to “MWEYA NDISESEKEDZE,” commending them for giving hope and demonstrating that “Mwari mumwe chete se ZUVA!!!” (God is one like the sun!).

Addressing swirling social media rumors about the couple’s marital strife and allegations of their separation, Chivayo used the platform to clarify a past misunderstanding. He vehemently denied claims that Mambo Dhuterere’s alleged “bad luck” from his wife was the reason for a delayed car gift from him. Chivayo stated he had simply respected Mambo Dhuterere’s public declaration that he was not eager for a car from him at the time, already possessing many vehicles. He stressed that Mambo Dhuterere has always been “at the TOP of my priorities,” particularly given their shared apostolic faith.

Beyond the material blessings, Chivayo’s message carried a profound emotional and spiritual appeal. He expressed deep admiration for Mai Dhuterere, recognizing her as a “strong, SUPPORTIVE WIFE and partner” who has stood by Mambo Dhuterere from “DAY 1” and contributed significantly to their music and mission.

In a heartfelt plea for reconciliation, Chivayo urged the couple to “find your way back to each other in full love and unity.” He emphasized the welfare of their “BEAUTIFUL children” and the “KINGDOM of God,” which is “GLORIFIED when you stand together as a family.” Drawing from his own experience of a “broken marriage,” Chivayo, while admitting his own marital challenges, shared the importance of respectful co-parenting and supporting the mother of his children.

“My advice to you my young brother, you still have the CHANCE to save what is PRECIOUS,” Chivayo implored, praying for their forgiveness and God’s restoration of their home. He concluded by expressing hope that their union would “EMERGE STRONGER than ever,” serving as an inspiration to countless other couples who look up to them.

The generous gifts and Chivayo’s public address on such a sensitive personal matter have ignited widespread discussion across social media, with many applauding his benevolence and his call for unity within the influential gospel music family.
