The former Dutch international saw his first win in charge of AC Milan when his side dismissed Hellas Verona 1-0 at San Siro but the coach believes that there is still a lot to be done despite the win.
Mario Balotelli’s penalty gave the host the much needed victory after spending many game, in all competitions without a win under the sacked Massimiliano Allegri, but Seedorf insist there are areas of concern that need to be addressed.
“We formed a circle all together in the locker room and I said we’d do the same after every game, whether it’s a win of a defeat, so we can all look each other in the eye. We’re a responsible for every result,” Seedorf told Sky Sport Italia.
“The victory is certainly dedicated to all Milan fans.I am happy for the squad, as there is a lot of work to do.
The 37-year-old coach also had a chance to praise his striker Mario Balotelli saying that he is a “sweet guy” and much talented youngster.
“I already knew Mario and am not remotely surprised by the good relationship we have built over the last few days,” he said.
“He’s a sweet guy, a great talent and will do very well for Milan and Italy.I hope to help him grow and he has already shown he’s willing to play a part in this project.”
The Rossoneri’s next Serie A fixture is at home against Udinese on January 22.
