Los Blancos have advantage with 13 matches to spare, after the Catalan giants lose 3-1 at Sociedad on Saturday and Atletico imploded in Pamplona on Sunday.
Real Madrid took their time to tame Elche side at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday, but ran out 3-0 victors thanks to goals from Asier Illarramendi, Gareth Bale and Isco to top la liga.
The last two Liga trophies were won with 100 points, by Madrid in 2011-12 and Barcelona in 2012-13 season.However, after both Barcelona and Atletico lost at the weekend.

“I’m happy because we didn’t concede,” said Ancelotti after Elche win.”Our play could have been better, but at this point of the season, the important thing is to take our chance and we did that.”
