ZIMBABWE-The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) games continue to progress at a decent pace towards the half way mark.
This coming weekend will see the staging of week thirteen (13) games.
It is also interesting to note is that as the games progress towards the half way mark there is still no early pacesetter.
All the two three teams are sitting at 22 points from 12 games.
The top position continues to change hands week in week out. To date resurgent Hwange, Dynamos and Highlanders have all led the log standing at one time.
While other teams continue to struggle with their form others have exhibited an entertaining brand of football.
At the beginning of the season ZPC Kariba surprised all and sundry by beating some of the big names in the domestic league.
However, they seem to be slowly losing steam, this weekend they drew one all with Shabanie Mine Football Club.
At Highlanders the former FC Platinum player Charles Sibanda has taken over the show from the ginger haired boy, Kuda Mahachi, who is now a pale shadow of the player who set the CHAN games alight in South Africa early this year.
Charles has scored five league goals so far and contributed immensely to the Highlanders campaign.
The three goal keepers at Highlanders (Ariel Sibanda, Munyaradzi Diya and Njabulo Ncube) are giving their coaches a selection head ache; to date they are yet to decide who their first choice is.
Mean while the reigning Champions Dynamos Football Club continue to climb the ladder gradual. They are now on third position at 22 points, the same number of points with the top two teams.
The only worrying thing for the Dynamos bench is the long winding queue of injured players in their dressing room. Among the injury list is star player Masimba Mambare who crossed floors from Highlanders this season.
On a good day Mambare, as he has shown in Bosso colours (last year) can win a match single handed.
Hwange FC like Highlanders was beaten for the first time this season by Chicken Inn.
Below are the games slotted in for this coming weekend:
Week 13:
How Mine vs Triangle, Chapungu vs Buffaloes, Hwange vs Caps United, Dynamos vs Chicken Inn, Chiredzi vs ZPC Kariba, Shabanie Mine vs Harare City, Bantu Rovers vs FC Platinum, Black Rhinos vs Highlanders
