(News of The South) – There is a reason why some countries are first world countries and some are not. The difference between each set of the countries is that developed countries value ideas and failed African countries value the carrier of ideas. If the carrier of ideas is not popular or known his or her ideas will not be accepted. People simply switch off and some even leave before they listen.
I sincerely hope my arrival with ZimFirst will mark a departure from mere populism politics that have resulted in a whole third world continent. You do not have to like me to appreciate my ideas.
Priorities:
Currency reform.
We will have to digitise the economy the Fintech way. We have a team and a company on board that is already working on a first world financial strategy for Zimbabwe . We are revolutionary and we are inviting other economists and financial experts to come on board. We are recruiting well for the future of the Zim government and results are beyond our expectations.
Agriculture
On Agrarian Revolution, we seek:
1. To do a proper transparent and just land audit to ensure that we redress the effects of the chaotic ZANU PF land program without hurting the masses and ensuring that all Zimbabweans who seek to earn a living can be empowered to do so through their land.
2. Commercialise all land so that our farmers are empowered to become competitive on the local and international market. Agriculture will be the base of our industrial revolution.
Mining
We have enough minerals resources (I will talk about this separately) to drive our quest to transform Zimbabwe which is currently not a first world country. We are going to ensure that from our national resources we build VILLAGE CITIES . It is a concept uniquely talked about by ZimFirst. Details about village cities are coming in the next months.
Our economic policy was developed by experts who have extensive expertise and experience in economies that are developed and we have customised the policies to suit the Zimbabwean situation.
I will not state the obvious thay we are a rich country that is mismanaged and we seek to redress this by being revolutionary in every aspect. Our revolutionary ideas will anchor on;
1. Agrarian revolution
2. Industrial revolution
3 Social revolution
Agrarian Revolution In Brief:
Water resources are critical in industrial development. Consistent water supply is essential . We have a team of engineers who are part of the ZimFirst government in waiting (GCI) who are currently working on an infrastructure template for water resources provisions that anchors our agrarian and industrial revolutions. We are not just a mere political party but transformative entities that bring developmental ideas. We mean well and we would not be sacrificing this if we did not believe in our capability and resolve to succeed. WE WANT TO TRANSFORM ZIMBABWE to be the first African First World country . The cohesiveness and unity of purpose that we bring will see the vision through.
2. Industrial revolution
premised on our devotion to invest all energies , expertise and resources on the success of the Agrarian revolution and leverage it to power our industrial revolution. We will build Village Cities as focal points for development. We then intend to incentivise the building of factories in the village cities to encourage local development and stop migration to already distressed congested main cities such as Harare and Bulawayo. We will soon share our models of village cities which will hold out of national budget. Zimbabwe is a very rich country and if brains are applied the truly and genuinely economic development, Zimbabwe can easily be a US 33 trillion dollar economy that can afford its citizens a first world standard of living. The problem is some citizens due to polarity in the country do not want to give new ideas a chance. They politicise everything. I am not a politician and many of ZimFirsters are not either but we are driven by a calling that tells us that the ideas we have will attract can rebuild Zimbabwe and our integrity and credibility can bring international support to our distressed country.
We are a team accomplished Zimbabweans and non Zimbabweans who don’t want anything from politics but a have a common desire to see a First World Zimbabwe , the first in Africa.
Electrical Power.
Energy is among our industrial revolution priorities. A country cannot succeed if it does not have enough and consistent power. We have an energy policy that was developed by ZimFirst Think Tank comprising of Zimbabwean top Engineers domiciled in the UK. We will be posting it on our website. We have a US$1.6 billion proposal from our partners for a development of natural gas project in Matabeleland North. This by the way came to us because of our perceived credibility and integrity, and failure by corrupt demands from current government officials.
