Craving on the crest of the wave of clinching the Malawi Open, Zimbabwe junior tennis maestro Pauline Chawafambira takes to the courts today (Wednesday) with the anticipation of becoming the victor again.
Pauline who is a Mantas Tennis Academy produce displayed the moment of brilliance in Blantyre the past week before scooping both Malawi Open singles and doubles titles.

The teenage is now representing her country against 10 other competitors at the clay courts in Lusaka on Wednesday.

“My chances are pretty high. I`m so confident after having won the Malawi Open,” Chawafambira told The News of the South.

“I just have to remain focused.”

The Lusaka clay courts will play host to countries like DR Congo, Botswana, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Kenya, China, Serbia, South Africa, Rwanda and Tanzania.

In the men’s category Zimbabwe will be represented by Malcom Mutungamiri and Liberty Nzulu but they are likely to face competition from players such as Edgar Kazembe who won the Malawi Open.
