Press Statement by Oliver Mtukudzi Family
Attention: Zimbabwe and Entire World,
We as the Oliver Mtukudzi family would like to thank everyone who comforted us during the hard time when we lost a son, father, brother, uncle, husband and grandfather, Oliver Mtukudzi.
We appreciate everything that you did for us and we wish that such a gesture be accorded to everyone out there who is in needy.
However, we would like to let the world know that as a family we are still mourning the loss that we encountered as a family.
We would like to distance ourselves from any events or gatherings that are being held for Mtukudzi as a family as we still grieving.
It is not going well with our family to realise that there are various individuals out there who are now cashing in because of our loss.
We officially announce that there is no event or initiative that is being blessed or initiated by the family as of now as we are respecting our departed father, husband, grandfather and son.
Every family has its way of mourning their loved ones and we believe we are also entitled to this priority as well.
Having said this we would like to appeal to everyone to respect our grieving space.
Once again we thank you for the love and touching messages of comfort that you keep giving us.
