Tinoonga Mawere|MDC A leader, Nelson Chamisa has urged Zimbabweans to pray for peace and national prosperity.
Chamisa believes only God will deliver the nation from the current economic crisis.
Church leaders also believe the crisis in Zimbabwe is spiritual rather than political.
Chamisa tweeted:”God is able.We will defend the truth and defeat all deceptive machinations of darkness.
Oh we need Our God to show HIMSELF in this land of Zimbabwe. We have wickedness,
cruelty and heartlessness in charge of the affairs of men! We must pray for our country.
I managed to comfort Kelvin Choto’s family in Chitungwiza.A 22-year old footballer, Kelvin was shot dead during the stayaway.Had a young
wife and a young daughter. Kelvin was not active in politics. Killings
and violence are barbaric ways of resolving national challenges!”
