Tinoonga Mawere(News of the South)- Harare -MDC A leader Nelson Chamisa has expressed gratitude for receiving birthday presents from MDC A supporters.
Chamisa said although the people of Zimbabwe were facing dire economic constraints they sacrificed their savings and showered him with birthday gifts.
“I Was touched by Zimbabweans who sent me their monetary birthday gifts via ecocash.I know life is hard but it’s so humbling to discover that many
sacrifice out of genuine love. So touching was the money sent from the rural communities.I’m moved.”
“THANK YOU DEAR FRIENDS.I was touched by an outpouring of soothing messages,gifts and prayers this 2 FEBRUARY. It’s so beautiful, fulfilling and humbling to walk and fight assured of such an inexhaustible source of everlasting strength, love and warmth,” tweeted Chamisa.
Chamisa turned 41 on February 2 and last year he led the MDC A in the harmonised elections the opposition party narrowly lost to Zanu PF.
