News of the South Botswana, Jwaneng – The St Johns Apostolic Church of the Whole World continues to spread its wings in leaps and bounds around the world spreading the undiluted word of God under the able leadership of the servant of God Bishop Dr Sydney Mabhiza well known by his church members as “Mutumwa St John”.
The church, headquartered in Zimbabwe has penetrated almost the whole of Southern Africa and the larger world because of its sharp gospel, branches and assemblies continue to sprout all over the region.
This time around they were in the rich diamond country thinning out the gospel and saving souls.
Speaking at the recently held conference in Botswana during an interview with News of the South, the National leader of the church Pastor Motswedi Beleng said he was so happy and grateful that their leader Baba Mabhiza had come to share the word with his sheep.
“it’s a blessing that baba Mutumwa is here, people have been waiting to see him and now finally people have been saved from vices of satan as you have seen demons being cast out, he said.
But most importantly Pastor Motswedi Beleng said he was grateful about was the ordination of the first ever Apostle of St John Apostolic Church of the Whole World.
Bishop Dr Mabhiza took time to ordain Pastor Proud Chiwetu to be the first Apostle of the church. Apostle Chiwetu will have eleven more Apostles under his sleeve.
This, according to Bishop Dr Mabhiza was necessary as these apostles will help continue spreading the pure word of God to the whole world.
Apostle Chiwetu who has been in the church for close to three decades said, “I feel honoured to be picked as a vessel and I will do everything to the best of my abilities serving under “baba mutumwa St John.”
The churches are working cordially and genially with local authorities in their respective places with Botswana now having at least 6 assemblies.
Pastor Motswedi, the national leader in Botswana said they work with affiliate religious organization in their local area of Jwaneng District.
We are affiliated to the “Organization of African Indigenous Churches here and we are in very good relations with the leaders and other churches,” he said.
The conference saw local and government officials gracing the event, councilors, district administrators and members of parliament were all present to hear what God had deposited into his vessel Bishop Dr Mabhiza.
St John’s Apostolic Church is a bible believing church and has branches all over the country and the world from UK, Canada, South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia among other countries.
