Harare, Zimbabwe. (News Of The South) – In a surprise move on Wednesday morning, Zimbabwe People First leader and former vice president Joyce Mujuru fired seven of his trusted lieutenants.
Addressing a press conference at her residence, the former vice President of the country said the expulsion was necessitated by a lot of things chief among them allegations of being regime agents.
The axe fell on the following Didymus Mutasa, Margaret Dongo,Rugare Enock Ngidi Gumbo,Kudakwashe Bhasikiti-Chuma,Luckson Kandemiri,Munacho
Mutezo and Claudious Makova.
The party said it will be going on with the ‘cleansing ceremony’ to root out other party members.
The opposition leader said they will be very much keen to join with other opposition parties to form a grand-coalition.
Speaking to News of The South, an insider in the party said a lot was
going on and that it was good riddance.
