Harare, Zimbabwe. (News Of The South ) – FOLLOWING the successful launch of his latest album “Tsoka Dzerwendo” at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) recently, Zimbabwean sungura music ace, Alick Macheso is now rolling out shows in various towns as a way of taking the album to his legion fans who could not make it to the launch.

This Saturday, “Baba Shero” takes his high-octane “Tsoka Dzerwendo” package to one of Harare’s most popular entertainment joints, Joy Centre PaFio situated behind Gwanzura Stadium in Highfield.

It has become the norm for the joint owner, Diva Mudzudzu, to host top musicians once they release something new onto the market.

In the past, Mudzudzu hosted Jah Prayzah at his Joy Centre joint, and this time around, it is none other than the sungura king himself.

“This is a chance for sungura music lovers in Highfield and surrounding places to come and witness the sungura king live in action in their backyard. This gig comes hot on the heels of the successful launch of his album recently.

“This is the reason why we have dubbed the show ‘Meet the Undisputed King of Sungura Music’,” Mudzudzu said.

Fans will without doubt come in their hordes to witness the man live in action as he plays tracks taken off the latest project.

These are: “Kurarama Inyasha” “Munyaradzi”, “Mude Mude”, “Gungwa” and “Wandirangaridza”.

No doubt Tsoka Dzerwendo sold over 100,000 copies on the first day of its release.
