Tinoonga Mawere(News of the South) – Harare- President Emmerson Mnangagwa has lamented the “pathetic conditions” at the country’ s largest health centre, Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals.
Addressing reporters and participants during a clean up programme at the hospital Mnangagwa described the equipment at Parirenyatwa as deplorable and outdated.
“I am not happy with what I have seen. The equipment here is in bad shape.
I have moved around the place and yes, I have realised that the working conditions are pathetic. Something has to be done to address the situation. Unfortunately I could not move around all the wards but I assume things are even worse than what I have seen,” said Mnangagwa.
