Tinoonga Mawere|Harare, Zimbabwe- Government sympathisers have mobilised 2,5 million people to sign a petition for the removal of sanctions imposed on Harare.

Relief Initiative (Zusri) project manager Donald Chirunga told reporters in Harare over 2,5 million people have since signed the petition appealing to the United Kingdom, the United States of America as well as
the European Union to repeal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe.
He said people from the religious, business and academic communities were supporting the initiative as the numbers of people signing the petition were increasing remarkably.
“We have received great support from religious, business and academic communities.
Over 2,5 million people have
signed the anti- sanctions petitions.
Zimbabweans from various church
denominations, academic institutions, business entities, also those in the diaspora and other countries have signed the online petition on the website as well,” said Chirunga.
