Harare, Zimbabwe. (News Of The South) – Many prophets across the continent have astounded many people with their healing antics, from the ‘Doom prophet’ in South Africa, Prophet Sanyangore here in Zimbabwe who made congregants drink anointed sewage and now we have prophet Brighton Chikomo whose ‘anointed honey’ is currently making waves.
News Of The South had a long interview with the ‘honey prophet ‘ on how he started his ministry and all the controversy he has courted so far after a local tabloid carried a headline,’ Anointed Honey Triggers Diarrhoea’.
Speaking to this publication, the Bright Light Prophetic Deliverance Ministry founder and leader said while people have talked much about the ‘anointed honey’ incident he still maintains that it is grounded in the biblical scriptures.
“Honey is a mystery from heaven, it is medicine and honey opens the spiritual eyes as well(1 Samuel 14:27),”suggested prophet Brighton Chikomo.
He claims as a result of the ‘anointed honey’ many have come with testimonies confirming indeed that the honey works.
‘Many were healed and their life is sweeter than honey. Businesses are flourishing because of this honey,” quipped the charismatic prophet.
According to the young prophet, the ministry was formed in Mt Darwin in 2014 with only 5 congregants but now it has grown bigger and they have now two branches with the main branch in Norton.
“We have grown big and miracles are happening I must confess they are many I have lost count from the barren conceiving, the dead rising ,the deaf hearing and the lame walking,” claimed prophet Chikomo.
Prophet Brighton Chikomo was born in Seke and attended primary and secondary schools in Murewa’s Uzumba Maramba Pfungwe district under Chief Mskwe.
Raised by his mother at his maternal grandfather’s home in Murehwa, the prophet said he started ministering at a tender age in the ZAOGA church.
He is a trained electrician who worked for six years in South Africabefore coming back to advance the work of God.
On Saturday the ministry will be launching ‘anointing oil’ in Kadoma at Rimuka Hall and then the following there will be in Kwekwe.
Prophet Brighton Chikomo joins other charismatic church leaders who are now making headlines for their miracles which some have dismissed as fake but many are flocking to seek spiritual help from these prophets.
