Zimbabwe – Opposition MPs for the MDC -T recently launched a five track album entitled “Tsikamutanda” as part of fund raising strategy and many have questioned and wondered about the meaning of the word ” tsikamutanda”.
Tsikamutanda is a stick used by a witch doctor in a community to cast out spells so everyone is made to jump the stick and if you are the culprit you collapse and the witch doctor then foretells the problems and how the culprits caused the problems.
The five track album features PAttson Murimoga, Douglas Mwonzora, Thabitha Khumalo and Fungai Masaiti.
“The road to freedom is never easy and the price that has been paid by the foot soldiers who are fighting for freedom is insurmountable, with all the physical and emotional pain that we are going through as the MDC Party led by R M Tsvangirai we will share our pains and finally our road to freedom using the power of the fountain PEN and the MICROPHONE as victory is certain” said MDC T (MP) Bulawayo East, Thabitha Khumalo.
Thabitha Khumalo is also the (MP) Bulawayo East, MDC National Executive Member, MDC National Council Member, Vice Chairperson of the International Parliamentary Union HIV/AIDS Board.
