Harare, Zimbabwe (News of the South) – The Movement for Democratic Change led by Morgan Tsvangirai continued throwing punches at new 2018 contestant Nkosana Moyo by calling him an enemy of equal measure as Zanu PF.

Through its National Deputy Treasurer General Charlton Hwende, the party has unequivocally challenged the Alliance for People’s Agenda leader to join Tsvangirai or be continuously decampaigned the same way as Mugabe’s Zanu PF.

“If you form your party today don’t expect us to campaign for you”

“The reality is that if you are not part of the Grand Coalition we consider you as an opponent and we will attack your policies, strategy and even your candidate”, said Hwende.

The combative Hwende stated that its normal in politics.

“That’s politics don’t tell us Mugabe is our common enemy even you and your party you are our political enemy and we will treat you as such”, he added.

The attacks upon Nkosana Moyo who used to be Industry Minister in Mugabe’s infamous war-cabinet at the start of the farm and company invasions in 2000 before resigning in protest, have been piling in recent days.

At a time that many opposition parties have agreed that a coalition is the way to go against Mugabe’s party in 2018, Moyo has seemingly come out with an individualiatic approach which has led some to question his sincerity to win power from the revolutionary party.

Conspiracies have abound that he is in fact a Zanu PF project to split the opposition votes, a charge which he has strenuously denied.

Reports from the factional battles in Zanu pitting G40 and Mnangagwa’s Lacoste have also led to insinuations that Moyo is a creation of Mnangagwa I  his bid to usurp Mugabe.
