Founding MDC member Mdlongwa dies
BULAWAYO, Zimbabwe.(News Of the South) – Founding MDC member and first organising secretary Esaph Mdlongwa has died.

Mdlongwa died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo ,the second largest city of Zimbabwe.
“We have lost Esaph Mdlongwa, a founding member of the Democratic Movement. He was the party’s first organising secretary and former MP for Pumula-Luveve then. He remained true to the fight to the end,” said MDC Alliance Youth Secretary Ostallos Siziba.
Veteran journalist and former ZBC radio presenter Ezra Sibanda also confirmed the death of the veteran politician.
“One of the founding fathers of the Movement For Democratic Change (MDC) Mr Esaph Mdlongwa who is also father of my friend, the legendary Music Producer and Dj Oskido Mdlongwa has gone to be with the Lord.
“He was a wonderful man. And when a man is that special, you know it sooner than you think possible. You recognise it instinctively, and you are certain that no matter what happens, there will never be another one like him. He was just a funny man full of humour and loved by many people. My condolences to the Mdlongwa family, uBaba will be dearly missed MHDSRIP,” Sibanda added.
The cause of death has not been made available at the time of printing.
