Police in Malawi’s city of Mzuzu are investigating the matter in which a father is suspected to have poisoned his four children.
Stain Linyama got divorced with his wife a year ago and have been living with his four children. It is alleged that he bought home maize flour and relish. As usual which were prepared for supper.
Surprisingly Linyama did not take the food, and as soon as the finished eating all the children started vomiting and opening bowels.
He also did not pay no attention to the condition of his children, and that forced nearby neighbors to take the children to the hospital and later reported the matter to Police.
Meanwhile all the four children are admitted at Mzuzu Central hospital where they are receiving treatment.
Police has detained the father Stain Linyama for interview. If evidence connects him, he will appear in court to answer the case of Maliciously administering poison with intent to harm.
Stain Linyama 60 years old, hails from Kachilunda village, T/A Mkumpha in Likoma district.
