BAMAKO, Mali President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, recently attended a swearing-in ceremony for new constitutional court judges.

These were appointed last week in a bid to end the political crisis in the country.
Nine judges were sworn in on Monday in a ceremony in Bamako, Mbali’s capital.
Mali is caught up in a political crisis with protestors calling for the resignation the president for failing to stop violence by Islamic militants and corruption.
The crisis saw five heads of state from the ECOWAS regional block visit the country last month to propose the formation of a unity government.
Heads of state are the ones that called for the appointment of new constitutional judges.
The proposal for the formation of a unity government was rejected by the opposition and they insisted that the president should resign.
On Tuesday anti-government protests that had taken a break resumed.
