Johnson and Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine studies get paused after unexplained illness.
WASHINGTON, USA. (News of the South)-Johnson and Johnson American Multinational Corporation announced yesterday that is had put a pause on its third COVID-19 vaccine trial due to an unexplained illness in a study participant.

A document that was discovered by Stat News which was sent to outside researchers working on the trial stated that a ‘pausing rule’ had been met.
The corporation went on to confirm the story to Stat News but refused to give further details to protect patient privacy.
The corporation noted:“We must respect this participant’s privacy. We’re also learning more about this participant’s illness, and it’s more important to have all the facts before we share additional information.”
“If we do a study of 60,000 people, that is a small village. In a small village there are a lot of medical events that happen,” a source said.
