Zimbabwe (News of The South) – Teachers cannot suddenly find their way to work unless they are capacitated. It is prudent for members to note that we must not weaken our case by starting to report for work today. It would be very difficult to defend a member on the basis of incapacitation if you have now started to report for work. You would create an impression that you have been pretending to be incapacitated when you are not.
It is prudent to wait until the final meetings today and pay day in order to assess the level of capacitation. Any rushed decision to report for work through some borrowing may be misconstrued as an indicator that you were faking incapacitation. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. Teachers’ incapacitation is real and must be addressed by gvt.
