The outcome of ZIFA elections held last Saturday in Harare have showed the world that as a nation Zimbabwe is not football oriented at all but maybe the opposite, yes anti football oriented.

The Cuthbert Dube whom everyone was insulting due to negative stories which were awash in the media, worst the stories being of being corruption and incompetence.

The Dube who as Chief Executive Officer at PSMAS was busy awarding himself a hefty $230 000 monthly salary at the expense of poor civil servants.

The same Dube who was a board member at ZBC which endorsed Happison Muchechetere to earn $40 000 whilst some employees were not getting anything.

Is this the type of person Zimbabwe`s football really needs to attract sponsorship, and to be on its foot again.

Is Cuthbert Dube the best candidate to take us where we wish to go as far as football is concerned?

Secondly, what did Mr Cuthbert did for Zim football in his previous tenure which may have made those who voted him do so?

Do we have anything positive to take home done from 2010-2014 do we except the much flawed and controversial bans to our footballers through his clean up of the Asiagate?

Are we selling our national brand as soccer loving if this person who has a proven record of failure and corruption is being re-elected to be the face of the nation`s football?.

Journalists are we doing what we are supposed to be doing to beautify this game?

ZIFA councillors who voted for this man do they have any justification of what they did, I wonder?
Is the method of voting credible as I think these councillors are the worst traitors Zim football has ever seen?.

If Cuthbert won against his track record of being corrupt how can someone clean fail to gunner a single vote; our football have gone for dogs for sure.

With all the damage he has done to local football, and with a face with a capacity to scare sponsors away, a president who hardly attends a local football match being given another chance to rule, surely the gods must be crazy.
Cry my beloved nation cry.
