HIGHLANDERS head coach Kelvin Kaindu is bound for United Kingdom and assistant coach Mark will be in charge of the team when they host Shabane Mine in a Castle Larger Premiership match at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

Club chairman Peter Dube confirmed that Kelvin Kaindu will leave for UK on Friday via Zambia to finish off his Uefa B coaching Badge studies.

“Kaindu will leave for UK on Friday via Zambia and this will be the second last visit by the coach as he is set to graduate in May .
Kaindu has been attending Uefa B coaching badge studies in the UK since last
year,” confirmed Dube.

Last year Kaindu missed the last crucial games of the Castle Larger Premier League race in November as he left for Norwich in the United Kingdom to pursue his UEFA B coaching licence.

Kaindu left the team at the crucial Championship race last year between Highlanders, Dynamos and Harare City with only single point separating the three teams.

Dube applauds Kaindu when he left for UK last year despite the team went on to lose the Premier Championship race to rivals Dynamos.

“Highlanders FC would like to congratulate Kelvin Kaindu for his admission at Norwich to pursue his UEFA B coaching license,” said Dube.

“Very few coaches in Africa have attained this level. He is just two steps away from acquiring the Pro certificate which is the highest coaching certificate in the world. We wish him well in his studies”.
