Harare, Zimbabwe.(News Of The South) – There is gnashing of teeth at Zanu PF Harare Province as Commissar Shadreck Mashayamombe has launched a stinking cleansing exercise in the embattled Harare Province with the aim to chop all executive members who have became a stumbling block in their reign to control the province.
Mashayamombe is working with the Youth League led by Chairman Edson Takataka and PC Chilinjali who have been tasked for mobilisation of support against all influential provincial members who are opposed to their G40 agenda.
On top of the ‘cleansing’ agenda is the chopping of Secretary for Administration Cde Mashavave, Secretary for Finance Youth League Cde Judy who are said to be backed by honourable members, Jason Passade, Terence Mukupe and Tinashe Maduza and Central committee member Zvandasara.
Cde Judy stands accused of being a turncoat who lately has been denigrating the National Political Commisar Saviour Kasukuwere. Cde Judy in cahoots with other Youth leaders have lately distanced themselves from the Youth Stands saga.
Cde Mashavave is accused of plotting the ouster of interim Harare Province Chairman Cde Tawengwa under the advice of ZANU PF Director for Administration Colonel Dzora and Brigadier General Sanyatwe.
Reliable sources within the Provincial structures confirmed to this publication that, Shadreck Mashayamombe together with Provincial Youth Chairman Takataka held a meeting with interim Chairman and Politburo member Cde Tawengwa, were they misrepresented to him that Mashavave was plotting his ouster from being the interim Chairman.
This was followed by an emotion filled provincial management meeting last week where National Commissar Savior Kasukuwere attacked Hon Maduza over stands and at the same time declared that Cde Tawengwa was going nowhere and would remain the interim Chairman of Harare Province.
With the recent outcome of the Politburo on Wednesday where Secretary for Administration Cde Chombo called for elections on Masvingo Province where more than one third of the executives was replaced, more heads are expected to roll at Harare Province as there is likely to have fresh elections after almost half of the provincial executives were replaced from the Chairmanship of the late Cde Midzi up to date.
Fears are fresh elections for Harare Province will be a heavy blow against the Mashayamombe led cabal as they are opposed by the grassroots from every corner in the province including his constituency.
Shadreck Mashayamombe is said to have planted Mashwede against Honourable Tendai Savanhu in Mbare for his attempts to block Mai Chikukwa for the Central Committee seat.
Efforts to get comments from Shadreck Mashayamombe were fruitless as his mobile was out of reach.
