Matopos, Zimbabwe. (News Of The South) – Youths from Harare province regretted ever attending the inaugural 21st Birthday celebrations in Matopos as they were left stranded with no food and accommodation as promised by the National Youth Secretary Kudzanai Chipanga and Harare Province Chairman Edson Takataka.
In his address to the youths in Harare Chipanga promised that all was set for the day from food, transport, regalia and accommodation but to the surprise of everyone, youth slept on floors with no blankets, no food for two days, no regalia.
Below are letters of disappointment from different youth groupings addressed to National Youth Secretary Chipanga and Harare Province Youth Chairman Takataka.
SHAME ON YOU CHIPANGA AND TAKATAKA.
Politics aside, fighting for positions aside, what binds us together is we are Zimbabweans. If that still does not soften your inhumane hearts, then i will substitute ‘Zimbabweans’ and rephrase, what binds us together is, we are human beings.
I have confession to make; previous times i have been bitter with G40 but at this stage i am angry, I am touched and i am pained. If i could open my inbox for the public to read the messages of complaints and despair, many would shed a sympathizing tear. Scores have highlighted to me how they have been used and rejected, they are dejected and devastated.
Kudzanai Chipanga, do you have a heart?, Do you love power so much that you no longer regard human life?.. Takataka, how can you be worse than the devil himself?, are you a bootlicker to an extent that all you care about is that people show up and not their well being?. G40 leaders, i know you’ve lost principles in order to please Grace Mugabe, but have you lost your hearts and that humanity in you again?. Is your heart as cold as stone and without conscience as a snake has no hips?.
For starters here’s what happened.
*Chipanga*
Chipanga to his credit did not steal anything, all he did was to try to make sure many people turn out for the celebrations in Matopo so he could boost his hopes of becoming a minister as he has been promised. Unfortunately, in his bid to achieve this, he came up with lots of lies and misrepresentations. He lied about everything, he very well knew nothing has been organized to cater for a huge number of travelers, all he wanted was to use you to please his masters.
*Takataka*
He needs missive hand holding, he does not do anything on his own and he takes advice from the last person to advise him. So to all Youth who have come to me, let me say it here; Takataka is your source of misery, not only for failing to stand for you but for embezzling the available funds. He took the resources aloted to you to finance a luxury trip and a fancy stay. Together with his ladies and mbare youth only. Kubva wasarudza mayouth zvinooneka, ndiani akakuudza kuti Harare zvinoreva MBARE, Harare constitutes all 6 Zones and there equal no Zone is special than the other.
*Plight*
G40 reduced respected cadres to beggars. People were dumped in Bulawayo, no food, no shelter, nothing. At the venue people did not get food, they literally starved while the high tables feasted ofcourse and as if that was not enough there was no transport to ferry people back to their homes. That is not all, Takataka and Chipanga have been verbally abusing anyone who inquires about the stranded and hunger stricken youths. Whether it is due to the influence of alcohol or it’s just their evil nature, the two have threatened any youth representative who inquired about the plight of the youth, whose only crime was attending the celebrations.
*My pain*
I’m at pains because, you cannot reduce family men and women into street dwellers. You can not entice them from their homes and dump them.You can not get donations countrywide only to starve people. You can not invite comrades and then humiliate them by scolding at them. You can not party and drink while ignoring party faithfuls.
Countless of people have phoned me and messaged me in regards to this abuse, what i had to say to them is, hang on it won’t be long.. And what i have to say to you two pseudo politicians is , you worse than the devil himself.

Back to town from venue Cde Chipanga gave us $1200 that we shared among us. Of which this care was given to us the vocal and violent for he could have been fearing for his life. Shefu batai mashoko.
