This year’s festival boasts an impressive lineup of renowned Zimbabwean artists, promising a diverse range of musical styles to captivate audiences. Headlining the event are the legendary Alick Macheso, known for his infectious “Borrowdale Dance” and captivating stage presence, and the soulful gospel artist Mambo Dhuterere, whose powerful vocals and inspiring lyrics are sure to uplift spirits.
Adding to the excitement are the dynamic performances of Selmor Mtukudzi, carrying on the legacy of her father, the late Oliver Mtukudzi, and the energetic sounds of Voltz JT, Silent Killer, Blot, Nisha T, DJ Sab, and Fatha Ansy.
The festival kicks off on Saturday, April 19th at Ramgarhia, Ulverscroft Rd, Leicester LE4 6BY from 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM. This “Main Event” will feature performances from all the artists, providing a full immersion into the rich tapestry of Zimbabwean music.
The celebration continues on Sunday, April 20th at Ole Moses Cabin 17 Forester Arms, 17 Frog Island, Leicester LE3 5AG from 1:00 PM to 2:00 AM. This “Sunday Event” will highlight performances by Silent Killer, Voltz JT, Nisha T, and Blot, offering a more intimate setting to enjoy these talented artists.
Adding to the thrill is the highly anticipated “Silent Killer vs Blot Cup Clash – Winner Takes All”, promising a high-energy showdown between these two popular artists.
