The Germany National team coach Joachim Low has renewed his deal and will be in charge of the Nationaleif for the next two years.
Joachim Low reached a consensus with the German Football Association (DFB) over a new contract until after the European most prestigious tournament (Euro) 2016.
The 53-year-old’s deal was due to expire after the World Cup 2014, but he has brushed all rumours about his future by penning a two-year renewal.
He took over as Germany gaffer in 2006 from Jurgen Klinsmann and has since turned Germany into one of the most formidable sides in the world.
Soon after signing the new deal Low had this to say:”I`m very pleased to renew my contract with Germany. I hope the good spell of winning matches will continue in the next World Cup tournament in Brazil.”
In 2008, Low guided Germany to the Euro finals where they lost narrowly to Spain, while reaching the semi-final stage both at the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012.
The Die Mannschaft currently occupies second position on the FIFA rankings and they have already qualified to the next summer’s World Cup after recording a clean sheet in Group C with 28 points from as many games.
