malawi. (News of The South) -Barely a few days after losing power in the just ended presidential election, former president Peter Mutharika was seen in public today at Mangochi market.
Looking very relaxed, confident and jovial Mutharika interacted with ordinary traders at the market to the mesmerizement of many.
Mutharika, bought several food items including dried small fish popularly known as usipa.
This against the background of recent media reports that Mutharika is sick and in poor health.
The former president was in the company of some officials including his personal aide, Norman Chisale.
