Former decorated Botswana President Seretse Khama Ian Khama revealed that he actually enjoyed spending quality time during the Covid-19 lockdown.

By Liberty Makusha.

He said: ” I must say l have really enjoyed spending the past 7 weeks in this cosy little caravan, as l lived co-operatively with nature”.

The caravan that the statesman of the Southern African country lived for close to 50 days shows that he lives a modest life in sharp contrast to other former and current presidents in Africa who live in affluent homes amidst poverty and underdevelopment of their nations.

Khama is a self confessed successful livestock rancher as he posted pictures at the farm with his herds of cattle.

“Under the current circumstances, it has been difficult for us farmers to visit our farms, so when this phase of lockdown lifted some rules, l then took the opportunity to go check on my livestock.”

The Southern African country’s administration of President Masisi lifted restrictions around travelling without a permit within zones thus giving relief to the law abiding statesman.
