Nigeria. – Susan Ishaya one of the 200 Chibok girls abducted 5 months ago by Boko Haram insurgents was released and is 4 months pregnant.

Chairman of Chibok community in Abuja, Tsamdo Hosea Abana, has confirmed the development.

According to security forces Ishaya was found on Wednesday close to a police station in the Mubi border town of Abana after having being dumped there by the insurgents.

“Susan is actually one of our daughters abducted from Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok. She was found in Mubi where her abductors dumped her and she was later taken to Yola.

“It has been proved that the girl is four months pregnant, and she is psychological and physically traumatized,” he stated.

Ishaya needs medical attention as the Nigerian government is being urged to take action and rescue the remaining girls who are being subjected to terrible physical and sexual abuse.

“Evidently, the girl was subjected to serious abuse. There are bruises on her body, and she is suffering from psychological trauma”, Abana stated.

Sources at the Police Clinic in Yola confirmed that Miss Ishaya was on admission at the clinic where she was receiving treatment but that she was taken to the police headquarters in the morning.
