FIFA President makes multimillion pledge to Angola

0 0Luanda, Angola (News of The South) – FIFA president Gianni Infantino, yesterday pledged a US$6 million grant to Angola in aid for infrastructure projects development.
Infantino was accompanied by the FIFA Secretary-General Fatma Samoura, and FIFA regional directors.
The FIFA president said the grant would be applied over the next four years to youth and women’s football infrastructure development programs.
Infantino has already visited countries such as Madagascar, Lesotho and Mozambique as part of his African tour.
Infantino is the second FIFA president to visit Angola, after Joseph Blater in January 2010, on the occasion of the African Cup of Nations.
