London, England. (News of The South) – The Excel Exhibition centre in London is being converted into a 4000 bed hospital to accommodate the deadly Coronavirus that has put the whole World on on high alert. Excel is more than 1km long.
Thousands have died from the Coronavirus which originated from Wuhan in China. Infection figures continue to spring up Worldwide as the virus does its deadly rounds.
The number of infections is rising fast in England with London having the highest numbers. In preparation for the high number of infections the Excel Exhibition centre in London’s Docklands area is being quickly converted to a 4000 bed hospital when numbers are expected to shoot up in the next two weeks.
UK is working to have the centre ready as soon as possible, the Excel Center will be named Florence Nightingale Hospital.
Hospital staff caring for the infected in the UK do not have enough personal protective equipment and the government is working tirelessly to acquire equipment as soon as possible.
Thousands of medical staff around the World have also died from the virus as more continue to be infected.
20 000 army personnel will be deployed to help combat the Coronavirus.
Some of the symptoms of Coronavirus are loss of appetite, loss of sense of taste and smell, dry cough, dry and sore throat, flu like symptoms, high temperature, diarrhea, dizziness.
People around the World have been top to stop handshakes, wash hands regularly, use hand sanitisers, manitain social distancing and be at least two metres away from the next person. Stop visiting anyone who does not live with you in the same household, self isolation for at least 14 days if you begin to have some of the symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has the infection. Everyone has been encouraged to be sensible and responsible to help stop the virus and mostly stay at home.
80 countries around the World have now shut their borders. Italy has recorded 7503 deaths, China over 2000 , Spain 3445. The global death toll is currently at over 20 000.
