(News of the South) – The Black Business Achievers has awarded USA based Malawian prominent entrepreneur with a second position for the global business award in 2013.
Chauncy Mopho Jere owner of Robert Brown Consulting Group (RBCG) and IT Genie who operates his two businesses in UK and USA was humbled by the recognition of his work by other people.
“I love working with people and I hope that my work touches and changes lives… I wish I could be doing this is in my home country [Malawi] but unfortunately the environment is not conducive,”
In addition Jere attributed his failure to operate his businesses in his home country due to proliferating corruption that has taken a toll in most African countries.
“Corruption has taken over from the top to bottom,” he said.
RBCG consist of consultants aiming on aiding the widespread needs of companies in the full range of the business chains in all sectors including sales and marketing, accounting, information technology and logistics amongst others.
Annually black business people who operate small or large companies in Nottingham (UK) are nominated for these awards and in 2013 they were 600 of them. The nominees must be people who act as role models to fellow black people and have a positive influence to the community.
