The teams will give it all in order to come out victors of which it makes the game more interesting to watch.
It will be a chance for either team to pick up their first silver ware before the league kicks off at the end of this month. This will also enable the fans to watch their new look squads especially Dynamos fc who were deserted almost by the entire squad that faired last season only to recruit new players whilst Caps United also brought in new faces in their squad.
The game will give both coaches Lloyd Chitembwe of Caps and Lloyd Chigowe of Dynamos to asses the team’s progress since the start of the preseason preparations. Moreso, it will be a good way to measure themselves for the upcoming season. Also this will enable the coaches to try new combinations, formations as well as tactics. It will give a glimpse of what to come and teams preparedness for the new season as is about to start in about three weeks time.
Caps United has brought in young players with energy and speed, the likes of former Highlanders duo vice captain Gabriel Nyoni and the hard running striker Newman Sianchali, returnee former Triangle United winger Phineas Bhamusi, Ronald Chitiyo who spent the entire season on the sideline due to a car accident and also romped in is Clive Rupiya.
Whilst their arch rivals Dynamos fc has brought on board new players to the whole squad save for the five that remained, goal keeper Simbarashe Chinani, Godfrey Mukambi, Kudzanai Dhemere, Jimmy Tigere and Tawanda Macheke otherwise the rest are new faces including four foreigners that is Ngandu Mangala from Democratic Republic of Congo,Robert Sackey from Ghana, Herve Mbega from Cameroon with the latest signing, the highly rated former Cameroonian youth international forward, Ngahan Claude Junior. On paper Dynamos seem to be a team that might challenge for honors they are likely to overpower Caps United if Chigowe plays his cards well. The squad looks strong with quality.
