Zimbabwe, Hatfield (News Of The South)- There was noise and throwing of stones when dancehall controversial artists Quonfused took to the stage at a backyard show commonly known as ‘Passa Passa’ held in Hatfield suburb of Harare.

The show which was a birthday party of one T Bass, was a well attended and later called off due to the violence which broke up when one of supposed main act Quonfused was attacked not with canes but with stones this time.

Fans were angry on the artist’s poor performance as he failed to please the fans who wanted more from him.

Despite having vast experience in the dancehall industry which now stands at eight years Quonfused was outclassed by a new member of the famous Bandit Family led by the popular Seh Calaz by the name Empress Faina who proved to be a force to reckon with in the dancehall industry through her flawless and splendid performance.

The show was to be called off even before Kinnah performed, and this was a bad day for the dancehall fraternity as dancehall has to be disassociated with violence they talk of in thier lyrics.

As a fast growing genre the artists and fans need to unite and make peace prevail among them so that the genre can be taken seriously by the old and the neutrals.

This is against what the Dancehall King Winky D is preaching as of late as he openly praised his number one critic Seh Calaz during his live show in Cape Town early this month by imitating Calaz’s trademark “cheq cheq cheq”.

Winky D went further in saluting one of his rivals Sniper Storm of the Masoja family.
