Dr Patson Dzamara dies with same disease that killed Morgan Tsvangirai

Human Rights and Political activists, Dr Patson Dzamara has died.
Dr Dzamara, brother to missing journalist and political activist Itai Dzamara who disappeared more than five years ago died this morning while battling colon cancer, the disease that killed founding leader of MDC Morgan Tsvangirai.
Posting on Twitter, Dr Nigel Chanakira said “It is with profound sadness to advise you that Dr Patson Dzamara has passed on this morning ahead of his scheduled cancer operation. Thanks to all those that had been contributing to the Fund where +US$14k had already been raised. I am personally devasted”, Dr Chanakira explained.
Dzamara, recently announced that he had cancer of the colon and a GoFundMe campaign was created to assist him to pay the operation bill.
MDC Alliance President, Nelson Chamisa also posted on social media and said I’m so devastated just received bad news from Dzamaras. The younger Dr Patson Dzamara gone too soon. This has been a terrible 2020.
Following Patson’s death, team Pachedu wrote Mr Patson has left us, he passed away around 6am this mory the 26th of August 2020. Our team is in contact with the brother Paddy Dzamara. We thank you all for the donations. The fund will be closed and further statement to be issued.
Dzamara previously complained of being injected poisonous stuff in prison which caused the cancer.
Patson Dzamara who started activism in 2016, and he staged one man demostration at the parliament building and vowed he would not be silenced until the whereabouts of missing brother Itai were known.
The Human Rights activist, also stood before the former President, Robert Mugabe with a placard written “Where is Itai Dzamara” at independence Celebrations in April 2016.
It was speculated by some prominent people said that Dzamara’s cancer had been induced by state security agents after one of his abuductions.
There are fears that Freelance journalist, Hopewell Chin’ono, Transform Zimbabwe Leader, Jacob Ngarivhume, MDC Alliance vice Chairperson, Job Sikhala might be poisoned in prison.
Hopewell now, is surviving on Biscuits and water so alledgely prolonging his jail time will enable them to poison him.
The Zengeza West legislator was told by Officer in charge of Chikurubi Maximum Prison,George Mutimbanyoka and a junior officer only identified as Murima that he will die in prison.
There are also issues about Phelekezela Mphoko saying he was afraid of being injected once arrested.
In Zimbabwe, Colon cancer among the activists also killed, the former MDC President, Morgan Tsvangirai, while former Minister of Tourism and Hospitality, Walter Mzembi, MDCT acting president Thokozani Khupe also survived.
Currently, over 5000 new cases are diagnosed in Zimbabwe annually at the prevalence rate of 15% in Zimbabwe.
